CropLife Canada and Canadian Food Focus are pleased to offer an experiential learning opportunity to delegates of ICND 2024.

Join us on an educational farm tour around the Greater Toronto Area (stops TBD). Tour stops may include greenhouses, plant breeding labs, orchards, crop/livestock farms, etc. Participants will see concrete examples of how Canadian farmers and the entire agriculture industry are rising to the challenge of growing safe, affordable and sustainable food for Canadians. They will engage with farmers and agriculture experts during immersive experiences about food production and come away with factual information to share with clients/the public.   

By the end of the tour, participants will:

• Understand the strict safety regulations in place to ensure the safety of Canadian food.
• Learn about technologies that reduce food waste and protect the quality of food.
• Understand how Canadian farmers contribute to sustainability.
• Have increased confidence to speak with clients/consumers about agricultural topics.
